A 501(c)(3) whose volunteer surgeons provide reconstructive plastic surgery free of charge to people who could never otherwise afford it. We partner with them because the work is the same work: giving a woman her body back so she can stop managing it and get on with her life.

Who they are
Treat. Train. Transform.
Founded in 1999 by Dr. Larry Nichter and based in Orange County, California, Mission Plasticos sends volunteer surgical teams to communities without access to reconstructive care — repairing burn contractures, congenital deformities, and injuries that would otherwise define a life.
What separates them is the second word. They train local doctors on every mission, so the capability stays behind after the team flies home. Since 2016 they have also performed post-mastectomy breast reconstruction for uninsured women in the United States through their Reshaping Lives America programme and Cup Couture Show.
What that has added up to.
Reconstructive surgery is rarely categorised as urgent care, which is exactly why it goes undone. A burn contracture that locks a hand. A cleft that keeps a child out of school. A mastectomy with no reconstruction because insurance ran out.
None of these are life-threatening. All of them are life-defining. Mission Plasticos exists in that gap, and their training model means the number below keeps compounding long after any single mission ends.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, transforming what was once broken into something even more beautiful, valuable, and resilient. Rather than hiding the cracks, Kintsugi honors them as part of the piece's story.
That meaning lies at the heart of this collaboration. The women we celebrate have experienced moments that changed their bodies, their lives, and their stories. Like Kintsugi, they have been restored, rebuilt, and strengthened through the journey. The gold represents more than healing; it represents the beauty, courage, and strength found in becoming something new.
Broken does not mean less beautiful. Sometimes, what is rebuilt comes back even stronger.

How does purchasing the collection support Mission Plasticos?
A portion of proceeds from designated JADED × Mission Plasticos collection purchases will support Mission Plasticos and its work restoring lives through reconstructive surgery and patient care. By purchasing the collection, you're not only wearing the story of restoration, you're helping us create meaningful impact through it.
Who is the collection designed for?
Everyone. This is first and foremost an elevated JADED collection designed for women to feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable. However, we've intentionally incorporated thoughtful features that can provide additional flexibility and support for women experiencing changes to their bodies, including those navigating life after breast surgery or reconstruction.
Can I purchase a jumpsuit for a patient?
Yes. We're developing a Sponsor a Patient Garment initiative that will allow individuals and businesses to purchase Kintsugi jumpsuits to be gifted through the Mission Plasticos community. It's a tangible way to give back and help another woman experience the confidence, beauty, and support this collection was created to represent.
Can I donate directly instead?
Yes. Donations made directly to Mission Plasticos go further than a share of a retail sale. Their donation page is linked below.
